As many of you know, it’s no secret that Rosamund Kwan is my BFF. Part of what keeps us close is naturally our common interests, ranging from fashion to beauty and skincare – the list goes on! During one of our endless sessions of chatting we both realised that besides from facial skincare, most people neglect the importance of skincare for the rest of the body. We looked at the different skincare products on the market and found that high quality, very often meant high prices – so Rosamund and I decided to create and launch RK Beauty, a collection of high-quality beauty and skincare products, that cater to all types of skin. And, most importantly, it’s affordable - as most people know, when you really want something done you have to do it yourself! Hopefully now women will be able to indulge in our products, to achieve and maintain their skin’s optimal condition.
Our first product is set to tackle with the general areas of the body – our hands and body. Most ladies usually have a small tube of hand moisturiser packed in their handbags, it is good to get into the habit of always having some kind of moisturiser with you; because if you think about all the work your hands have to endure each day, our hands do need a little tender loving care – and don’t forget, hands are also a giveaway of a women’s true age. However, it’s easy to forget that the rest of our skin which is exposed to the hot weather or even indoors with freezing air-conditioners; a small tube of hand moisturiser is simply not enough in terms of both quantity and quality to cover the various problem areas of our body. Therefore, RK Beauty came up with the fusion idea of creating a 2 in 1 hand and body moisturiser, ensuring you can keep your hands, elbows, and knees moisturised in one easy, simple step.
I’m proud to say that all ingredients used in RK Beauty products do not contain any harmful chemicals, colorants or preservatives. We take pride in using all natural ingredients with the hand and body cream moisturiser is manufactured in Australia, .and with this hand and body cream moisturiser it incorporates copious amount of pure rose extract along with 10 natural ingredients such as: Shea Butter, Glycerin, Glycine soja (soya bean) oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Caprylic triglycerides and so forth. These natural ingredients boost the penetration of the product into the deeper layers of skin. The whole moisturising process leaves the skin in a silky, smooth and non-greasy condition accompanying with a strong rose scent all day long. It comes in two sizes: 40ml for ladies who travel around often, this is the handy size to put in your hand bags and 180ml to be placed a home for your daily usage.
People always told me the saying, “do what you love – and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Being able to do this with my best friend is definitely a major milestone for us. Establishing RK Beauty with Rosamund is undeniably enjoyable as we are both passionate about beauty, we both want to keep our bodies and skin in their best condition, as most modern women do – hopefully women will enjoy using our products as much as we enjoyed creating it.
