Clinique Liquid Facial Soap - Mild

It's the best 'take-the-day-off' facial soap I've tried thus far. It's not too harsh, so even if I use it multiple times a day, I get a clean fresh face without my skin feeling stripped or dry. I think it's a must-try for those looking for a reliable daily cleanser that removes dirt and oil well.

For over a year now, I've been using Axis-y's Quinoa One Step Balanced Gel Cleanser, which clarifies my skin and removes makeup and sunblock without over-drying. Perfect for hot, humid weather like what we have here in the Philippines, it gives my skin that healthy, fresh glow throughout the day. I supplement this with Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser twice a week. This deeply cleanses my pores and gently exfoliates my skin, addressing skin dullness and hyperpigmentation.

I love to double cleanse. I use Kiehl's Amazon Clay face wash and the Calendula face wash. Amazon clay first and then calendula second. I love the exfoliation from the clay face wash and the calming aspect from the calendula.

I think the most important skincare step is cleansing. For my skin, I want a cleanser that is strong enough to remove gunk, but also so mild it doesn’t strip off my skin’s natural oils. One product that I use every night is Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm, this is a product that I have passed on from one friend to another; it naturally exfoliates and brightens my face with its Vitamin C-rich acerola extract, Vitamin E, and green tea ingredients. Sometimes, when I feel like going a little ‘extra,’ I thoroughly cleanse my face with Lush’s soothing piece of magic: the Mask of Magnaminty! I know that scrubs are frowned upon in the beauty world but this one is never harsh or abrasive. I really swear by this product, it saved me a lot of derma appointments and salon visits. My skin feels clean and supple after every use, it’s so good I can stamp my name in every tub.

I love how it's so rich and foamy but is not oily or drying. I feel like it's a proper deep clean and I look forward to washing my face with it every night!

I've been using it since I was like 13 years old [I'm now 40 years old]. I use the entire line of Cetaphil cleansers and just change according to what my skin needs at that time. I find it's best for combination and sensitive skin.

—Liezl Adraneda, Head of Sales

My favourite cleanser is Cetaphil's Daily Exfoliating cleanser! I have oily skin and tend to break out easily so I’ve struggled a lot with finding a cleanser that works well. Recently, I tried this particular one and I was surprised by how much I like it. First of all, it’s not very foamy or sudsy (as it is water-based) and second, since it claims to exfoliate, I was really worried it would irritate my skin. But it’s incredibly gentle and I use it two times a day no problem! The smell is kind of strong but it doesn’t irritate and it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

I cannot recall how many times I had to throw or give away bottles of cleansers because it just did not work on my skin. Until I consulted with a dermatologist and they recommended the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, which is so kind to the skin. The simpler, the better. I rarely break out now!
