Clé de Peau Beauté’s The Serum makes one concrete step in sharing your radiance with the world
In this day and age, we recognise that our purchasing decisions have far-reaching impacts. Whenever we shop from sustainable brands and invest consciously in products for a worthy cause, we are maximising our power as consumers to make a difference and shape the world in even the smallest yet tangible ways.
One brand that strongly echoes this ideal is Clé de Peau Beauté by the Shiseido group, whose commitment to empowering women extends beyond its range of luxurious beauty and skincare essentials. In 2019, the company embarked on a multi-year partnership with UNICEF in support of girls across the globe, pledging a donation of US$8.7 million towards the organisation’s education, employment, and empowerment initiatives in more than 30 countries.

The noteworthy pledge has benefitted more than 3.5 million children between 2019 and 2022, and it has likewise been a compelling force behind UNICEF’s Skills4Girls Programme. With a focus on developing skills in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), the venture seeks to create more equitable access and opportunities in what remains a male-dominated industry, ultimately raising female representation and leadership within those disciplines worldwide.
Recognising how there is still much to do with their collective strengths, efforts, and influence, Clé de Peau Beauté has renewed its fruitful partnership with UNICEF in 2023. The two institutions aim to reach 5.7 million more girls around the world over the next three years, providing the tools and resources that young women need in order to fulfil their utmost potential. Underscoring further that it takes a village to achieve such a feat, the luxury beauty brand has launched another campaign, inviting every woman to contribute and ride waves of concrete change.
One may simply begin with The Serum, a well-loved and bestselling skincare staple that is also the first step in Clé de Peau Beauté’s Key Radiance Care ritual. Gentle and hydrating on the skin while accelerating the absorption of products that follow in one’s daily regimen, the hydration formulation comes packed with powerful ingredients like hyaluronic acid, an algae complex called Kelplex and the brand’s Skin-Empowering Illuminator with Platinum Golden Silk to stimulate a naturally healthy radiance every day onward.

It is a paragon of the Clé de Peau Beauté’s very own ethos: that the skin is as intelligent as the mind, capable of restoring and protecting itself when nourished with all things good. As The Serum’s lightweight texture is absorbed, the skin feels softer and smoother, increasingly more supple with continued use. Because it seizes the skin’s regenerative power, it simultaneously functions as an anti-ageing marvel—though, like most of Clé de Peau Beauté’s lusciously crafted creations, The Serum is sure to delight anyone who seeks its prowess.
Returning to their inspired mission, Clé de Peau Beauté will continue to donate US$3 from every purchase of The Serum to support UNICEF’s work for girls across the world, with a minimum pledge of US$2.9 million. Ultimately, what we’re seeing is a company that has wholly embraced a greatly admirable purpose, mirroring our own pursuits in making a difference through the actions and choices we make. As we continue to seek connections that go beyond aesthetics, Clé de Peau Beauté shows us how we can achieve radiant skin and an equally brighter future for all.
