One look at Che Puan Amelia Thripura Henderson and you may be tempted to sum her up in one word – beautiful – but this TV personality, who graces our cover this month alongside husband Tunku Harunnarasheed Putra, is so much more than that.

Behind those mesmerising doe eyes, crystal clear complexion and luscious brown locks is a professional model, emcee, radio jockey, television host and actress. Despite her packed schedule, she still manages to look her best whether on or off screen with an unmistakable twinkle in her eyes. 

How does she do it? By knowing her skin and its needs very well.

“I do take a lot of care over the products I use on my face because due to my line of work, I am constantly wearing a full face of makeup. A good skincare routine is necessary to prep my face and make sure my skin stays healthy,” she divulges. 

She adds, “I have dry/combination skin so when I shop for skincare, I have to target a certain product for different part of my face. My routine is actually quite simple: after cleansing I use a clarifying toner with salicylic acid followed by a moisturiser. At night it's usually a heavier moisturiser and during the day, I opt for a day cream with a high SPF."

When it comes to makeup, she is all about having fun, true to her persona we have all come to love on camera. 

“I’m a huge makeup junkie and hope to launch my own makeup line in the future,” she tells. “My criteria when choosing makeup is a lot less stringent. I am quite experimental so I have no guidelines when it comes to eye makeup/ lipstick. But for foundations and concealers, I only use non-comedogenic products because those come into direct contact with my skin.”
