Inspired by Coco Chanel’s favourite colour, the luxury beauty house invites you to rediscover the shade from October 17 to 21
If Chanel’s Coco Game Center earlier this year is anything to go by, the Le Rouge pop-up is a must-go for any self-respecting beauty junkie. From October 17 to 21, 72-13 Mohamed Sultan Road is transformed into Chanel’s beauty laboratory, dedicated to the colour red.
Why red? It is the symbol of courage and passion, of seduction and energy—most importantly, it is “the colour of life, the colour of blood” for Gabrielle Chanel. In 1924, the celebrated designer created her first lipstick in an intense, vermillion red, which has since become part of Chanel's main icons. And when you step into Le Rouge, it’s not hard to see why.

Decorated with a modernist flair, the pop-up space arrests your attention with a monochromatic palette of black, white, and of course, red. The exploratory journey begins at the Red Factory, with its stark white industrial tanks churning with various textures of lipsticks and nail polishes. Experience them for yourself and experiment with bold new looks at the make-up stations.
Follow the hypnotic wall of moving lips, which showcases the House’s extensive collection of hues and finishes, and discover the secret Red Corridor that will lead you to the jewel in the crown—the limited edition Chanel N°5 L’eau Eau de Toilette and N°5 Eau de Parfum, in red glass bottles. But for true collectors, get your hands on one of the 55 numbered red Baccarat crystal bottles, each containing 900ml of the N°5 Parfum.
