Makeup artist Georgie Eisdell created a classically glamorous red carpet look for Jennifer Lawrence with Dior Beauty
All eyes have been on Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson, the stars of Lynne Ramsay’s new film Die, My Love. The film received a standing ovation at its world premiere at the 78th Cannes Film Festival (though reports vary between a six-minute standing ovation and a 9-minute one), and critics are already lauding Lawrence’s searing portrayal of a woman undone.

Lawrence wore head-to-toe Dior for the momentous occasion, in a look that evoked classic Hollywood glamour (and toed the line for this year’s controversial Cannes dresscode). Dior enthusiasts will recognise her dress as a reinterpretation of the iconic 1949 Francis Poulenc dress from the maison’s archives, styled by Jamie Mizrahi.
The vision was completed with soft glamour from makeup artist Georgie Eisdell using Dior Beauty. Eisdell gave Lawrence radiant skin, sculpted brows and an eye heavy on the lashes, the perfect canvas to spotlight Dior Beauty’s well-loved Dior Rouge 99 lipstick.
