The Bottega Veneta "Parco Palladiano" collection features six luxury unisex fragrances that draw inspiration from the Palladian villas of the Veneto region and their gardens, built from the 16th century onwards based on designs by the architect Andrea Palladio. The collection pays homage to this unique cultural heritage and the surrounding landscapes, as well as to the Veneto region, where Bottega Veneta was founded in 1966.

"Palladio is a source of endless inspiration for me in many ways," says Tomas Maier, who conceived and oversaw the collection. "My father was an architect who studied the work of Palladio, so his teachings have always been part of my life even before I started as creative director at Bottega Veneta. Palladio was an artisan as well as an architect who sought balance and harmony in everything. The Palladian gardens that inspire this 'Parco Palladiano' collection represent a perfection on earth and an agricultural utopia."

The brand spent over two years developing these six new scents -- all identified by a Roman numeral, from I to VI -- focusing on artisanal craftsmanship and quality ingredients. All of the fragrances are described an "olfactory trompe-l'œil," capturing various moments and experiences in a Palladian garden. Tomas Maier called on three perfumers to concoct the scents: Michel Almairac and Daniela Andrier, who have already worked with Bottega Veneta, and Alexis Dadier, who joined the brand for the first time.

Each of the six fragrances focuses on a different ingredient or aroma. "Parco Palladiano I" focuses on magnolia, "Parco Palladiano II" draws on cypress leaves, "Parco Palladiano III" captures a sun-ripened pear, "Parco Palladiano IV" is based on azalea flowers, "Parco Palladiano V" draws on aromatic herbs, such as laurel, rosemary and sage, and "Parco Palladiano VI" is based on rose.

The "Parco Palladiano" collection will be available from Bottega Veneta boutiques.
