One of the most beautifully packaged luxury skincare lines to launch in recent years, these Marc Rosen-designed jars and bottles landed in Hong Kong last week and they certainly deserve pride of place on your vanity dresser.

Founded in 2017 by ex-biochemical analyst and current CEO of Italian medical spa Castrocaro Terme, Lucia Magnani, this science-meets-nature line includes moisturisers, masks, serums, toners and supplements that combine antioxidant ingredients with earth elements such as quartz and gulf stream seawater. Even Dame Joan Collins calls herself a “big fan”.

You should try: Lucia Magnani's Refreshing Energizing Toner. Rich with antioxidants and citrus extract, this toner comes in a luxurious spray bottle and calls upon elements of the Mediterranean seaside to nourish, rejuvenate and give your skin a mid-day boost with a single spritz.

Available in-store and online at Harvey Nichols

2. IOMA

Personalised skincare may be all the rage right now, but French label IOMA—founded in 2011 by Jean Michel Karam, a PhD in micro-electronics—has been ahead of the curve with its flagship bestseller, Ma Crème. It's a day or night cream that boasts over 40,257 tailor-made formulations rich in active ingredients such as peptides and vitamin E to target each individual’s skin issues, from blemishes to sun damage and wrinkles.

Previously only available in Europe, the sophisticated diagnostic device IOMA Sphère 2 has landed in Hong Kong to provide made-to-measure formulations after a 20-minute check-up using micro and macro measurements and scans.

You should try: IOMA Ma Crème. This one-step nourishing serum-rich moisturiser practically renders additional skincare products unnecessary—perfect for the modern woman on-the-go.

Available at G/F, Wing On Centre, 211 Des Voeux Road, Sheung Wan

The Japan- and Korea-produced line was founded by Sabrina Tan and carries a range of products from cleansers to gadgets and a signature line of customisable serums—all of which are available at their new Hong Kong pop-up store.

You should try: Skin Inc's My Daily Dose Serum. Unless you live under a rock, you'll have heard of British beauty and skincare powerhouse Charlotte Tilbury’s highly anticipated arrival at Hong Kong’s Lane Crawford—the brand’s first outpost in Asia—marked by a star-studded cocktail party last month.

Thanks to her celebrity-coveted formulas—she’s painted the faces of everyone from Gisele to Kate Moss, and most recently Amal Clooney for this week’s Met Gala—glamourous packaging and women-empowering ethos, we predict we'll be seeing a lot more of Charlotte Tilbury in Asia (and in our beauty cabinets).

You should try: Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Flawless Filter. A highlighter, primer and foundation all in one, this versatile complexion booster that comes in seven shades can be worn under or over makeup, or on its own, for a dewy, natural and flawless complexion.
