Rilly-la-Montagne, Montagne de Reims, where most of the estate’s 11ha is.


Why

A style that straddles richness and freshness, thanks to fermentation and maturation in 228L oak barrels but blocked malolactic fermentation. This wine, their top cuvée, is made exclusively from 55 year-old vines in Les Blanches Voies.

Tasting Notes

Sweet white flowers garnish a wave of exotic citrus: finger limes, citrons and white grapefruit. The palate adds fragrant grasses, freshly moistened stones and a warm ovenful of browned pastry. Texture feels quite grainy with an acidic bite on the attack, locking the citrus into a tightly coiled structure.
