In the spirit of giving back and uplifting the lives of others in need, The Melium Group and Tatler Malaysia have partnered for their first-ever Tatler Ball charity collaboration this year with the aim of raising RM400,000 to help children from Malaysia’s most neglected and remote communities.
To this end, The Melium Group has donated a total value of RM120,000 in products from some of the world's leading luxury fashion and leather brands to be placed under the Christmas Tree at Tatler Ball 2022, available on a first-come, first-serve basis for one night only. For the first time, Tatler Ball guests will be able to participate in this impactful initiative by buying any of the items under the tree via payments to Tatler Malaysia’s GiveAsia crowdfunding page.
One hundred per cent of the proceeds from these items will go to three charities dedicated to the welfare of underprivileged children, namely Make-A-Wish Malaysia and its efforts providing life-saving medical treatments for terminally-ill children, OrphanCare’s work in finding homes for abandoned babies, and Yayasan Chow Kit’s programmes empowering children and at-risk youths. To kickstart this crowdfunding initiative, The Melium Group has generously donated RM10,000 in cash.
