The virtual world can be a daunting place, especially with the popularisation of blockchains, cryptos, and NFTs. If everything is new to you, Proof of Learn, Inc., a Web3 education platform, launched Metacrafters, where you can learn advanced knowledge on the blockchain and other related topics
The digital world has become the home of gamers who found a way to gain profit through cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Through the years, games like Axie Infinity, Zed Run, Lost Relics, and more have become popular evident in the number of loyal users who eagerly play and monetise their stay in the virtual realm. Despite these games' popularity, however, many people are still baffled by the process of earning and giving out crypto-based rewards.
To address this, a group of developers from Proof of Learn, Inc., a Web3 company co-founded by tech veterans Sheila Lirio Marcelo, Kevin Yang, and Lauren Tornow. Through its pilot program Metacrafters with Yield Guild Games (YGG) helmed by Gabby Dizon, it offers a gaming guild that coordinates players around the world to earn crypto-based rewards in a learn-to-earn experience. The said program also seeks to provide close to a thousand scholars access to its platform along with curriculum design from top Silicon Valley Web3 developers.

Metacrafters is based on a learn-to-earn system that treats clients as students. Similar to schools, the students will be learning the basics up to advanced knowledge on the blockchain and Web3 topics. As they learn, they can earn eventually regain the amount they have paid for the tuition.
Here, students are also eligible for an official Proof of Learn NFT that acts as a diploma, as well as a treasure NFT that can be traded on the marketplace.
"More than a billion people will onboard to the Metaverse over the coming years. Many will come to Web3 through play-to-earn games, but we’re excited to see other versions of the X-to-earn model, such as MetaCrafters’ learn-to-earn.
