Prince Albert II of Monaco

It was in 1948 when Prince Rainier III of Monaco presided the very first Monaco Red Cross Ball in support of the Monaco Red Cross and its efforts to help those in need. 70 years later, the late monarch's son, Prince Albert II of Monaco, has since taken over the baton from his father and mother, Princess Grace, as president of the ball. Under his leadership, the ball continues to be one of the world's most prestigious social and charity summer events with a star-studded guest list and an impressive record of having already raised billions of dollars for the Monaco Red Cross. This year, the 70th Monaco Red Cross Ball saw British musician Seal serenade the crowd, which as per tradition, comprised a mix of royalty and big-name celebrities.
