In a campaign entitled "Made Better", Save Philippine Seas (SPS) joins forces with beauty brand Kiehl's to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility. Through this global effort, environmental issues are brought to the fore by highlighting responsibility in sourcing ingredients and subsequent manufacturing.
For the Philippine leg of this campaign, the eco-friendly beauty brand partnered with Save Philippine Seas, an organisation that champions proper care and preservation of the country's most valuable resource: biodiversity.
Of the organisation's agenda, Anna Oposa, "Chief Mermaid" for Save Philippine Seas and Generation T Honouree had this to say “[SPS] has three pillars: education, engagement, and empowerment. We want Filipinos to mobilise different initiatives for collective action and behavior change... I really believe that the way forward to take care of the Earth is by working with different companies —like Kiehl's.”
