You know it's a Porsche event when you see a variety of German thoroughbreds lined up neatly in a row outside a venue. To celebrate the marque's 70th anniversary, and 30th birthday of Porsche Club Singapore, attendees came dressed to the nines for a night of double happiness. Over 300 guests, including industry veterans and motorsport enthusiasts, attended the charity dinner gala, which was in line with the global celebratory theme of "Sportscar Together".
To commemorate milestones and give back to society, Porsche Asia Pacific and Stuttgart Auto, the brand's authorised dealer in Singapore, contributed to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. A total of $111,900 was raised that evening, with Stuttgart's founder Karsono Kwee making a personal contribution of $70,000, while the charity auction of limited-edition Porsche memorabilia, fetched approximately $20,000.
