What Is Tablets With Access?
This year, Tatler launches Tablets With Access! It is with optimism that we hope to raise enough money through this initiative to provide at least 500 students with a tablet, plus one year’s worth of internet access. The student beneficiaries to receive the Tablets with Access will be selected by the Ayala Foundation, Inc and will come from its partner schools in Manila, Batangas, Cavite, El Nido, Mindoro, Visayas and Mindanao.
How Does It Help?
Every donation worth PHP7,000 will ensure that a deserving student gains access to a tablet, which was purchased from Cherry Mobile. This, along with a one-year Internet allowance, will allow he or she to continue his or her education through unpredictable times.
Each of these tablets comes with an Android 10 processing system, an 8-inch HD IPS display, and 4000mAh battery capacity. All such features are in accordance with the specifications required by the Department of Education.
Tatler Philippines is proudly jumpstarting the drive with a PHP250,000 donation. "It has become a Tatler Philippines tradition to raise funds for a very worth cause to support our country during our annual Tatler Ball, but because of the pandemic we were unable to hold our 19th anniversary ball in 2020," explains Tatler's managing director, Irene Martel Francisco. "This however did not stop us from thinking of several projects that will help the common good" she adds.
100 per cent of the donations will go towards the cause and each person who has generously contributed to the advocacy can expect to receive official receipts and certificates of donation. We will also be updating everyone on amounts raised and how many students we are able to help though Tablets with Access.
When?
This drive will run the course of a month, from January 15, 2021 until February 12, 2021.
How To Donate?
Donate PHP 7000 to BPI with the Account Number 0011-1495-61 and enter 'Tatler' in the notes section. You may also contribute via GCash by scanning Ayala Foundation, Inc’s QR code using the GCash app on your phone.
Benefactors may also donate via cheque can address the payee as Ayala Foundation, Inc. Donors may also choose to call Irene Martel Francisco (+63917.8579074) or Nancy Bariring (+63917.5893488) to have their cheque donations picked up.
