The inaugural Global Clinic Charity Auction Night 2018 tugged at the heartstrings of guests who listened intently to the non-profit organisation's founder, Myra Elliott, share about the mission of her cause. The aim to bring healthcare to underserved communities around the world formed the foundation of the event, of which Generation T was official media partner. Through a live and a silent auction, $50,000 was raised and will be used to cover the surgical, consumable and medical costs of the Global Clinic's upcoming medical mission trip to Myanmar this November as well as its future initiatives. The event, which rolled out at private members club 1880, also saw celebrity chef Ryan Hong whipping up delicious canapes while jazz quartet, Synapse, provided the tunes.
