兩成女性有產前或產後憂鬱
自己育有三個孩子的凱特王妃在影片中談到：「我們都知道，懷孕、分娩以及孩子生命的最初幾個月和最初幾年的要求可能非常高。父母常常在早年階段感到孤獨和不知所措。根據報導，在英國有20%的女性患有產前或產後憂鬱等疾病。」凱特王妃也認為，實際上肯定遠遠大於這個數字：「可悲的是，我們也知道還有更多的人在默默地受苦。在這段時間裡，沒有人能免於焦慮和憂鬱。」

凱特王妃本次是為了英國一個支援產前產後憂鬱婦女與家庭的組織MMHA 而錄製的影片，MMHA目前正在進行一項活動，名為「我們每一個人的事」（Everyone's Business campaign），這項活動旨在為了曾在孕期前中後感到憂鬱的女性們，讓她們及家庭成員皆獲得應有的支援。該組織也提到，大約有五分之一的女性曾經在孕期或養育孩子初期開始產生心理問題，而這樣的心理問題會導致準媽媽及新手媽媽面臨心理問題的風險，如果不加以治療，後果恐怕會越演越烈。而凱特王妃本次在活動中以贊助人的身份現身呼籲，她表示，每個人都有責任支持父母和照顧者，以及所有撫養孩子的人。因為通過確保下一代兒童能夠茁壯成長，就可有助建立一個更強大、更健康、更有益的社會，這對所有人都有好處。
