As the old adage goes, "it takes a village to raise a child". Last March 1, at the Raffles Hotel Makati, the Child Protection Network put that phrase to work at their 2019 charity auction. It certainly takes a caring group of people to help fight child abuse. Hosting the auction were Dr. Randy Francisco, Atty. Katrina Legarda, and Tonico Manahan of Leon Gallery. The lots featured were the following: a Jewelmer Pear Pendant, a Lunch at Antonio's Tagaytay with Lexus Luxury SUV transfers and two bottles of Nicolate Feuilatte, Dinner for 10 by Happy Ongpauco-Tiu and wines paired from AWC Philippines, Mentaxaca and Riqueza Emerald Earrings, a 1954 Patek Philippe from Vintage Grail, an Amanpulo getaway, Solaire Chairman's Package, and a one-week stay for 12 people at Valfond, France. The event was a huge success, for as of writing, the total amount raised is PHP 6.4 Million. This event would not be possible without the generous contribution of Raffles and Fairmont Hotel Makati, Sta. Elena Construction, and all those who donated.
100% of the amount raised will go directly to the charity and its beneficiaries.
