From Max Tran at Ford to Andrej Karpathy at Tesla, a new generation is redefining the future of automobiles through design, AI and supercar innovation.
In the 21st century, the global auto sector has witnessed a wave of young innovators who are not simply contributing to progress but leading it. From solid-state batteries that charge in 10 minutes, to car operating systems written from scratch, to modular EVs that can be customised like LEGO, they are redefining the future of automobiles and compelling a century-old industry to reinvent itself.
Among them are Max Tran, the Vietnamese designer who gave the Ford Ranger its bold new look; Andrej Karpathy, the AI mastermind behind Tesla’s Autopilot; and Ralph R. Debbas, who introduced luxury supercars to the Middle East. Each comes from a different discipline, but all share the same drive: to break barriers and leave their imprint on the journey towards a new automotive future.
