From enhanced product personalisation to an AI-driven beauty marketplace, L’Oréal and NVIDIA are using AI to transform the beauty landscape
Beauty behemoth L’Oréal and US-based tech company NVIDIA are unlocking the full power of AI in beauty. L’Oréal is using Nvidia’s technology for three main things: creating 3D product images, making personalised shopping experiences and generating marketing content.
L'Oréal has two key AI-driven projects: CreAITech, which quickly creates realistic 3D images of beauty products for ads, and Noli, which recommends beauty products based on individual skin needs using data from over a million skin samples. With Nvidia’s help, these tools will work faster and reach more customers across different platforms.

“Our focus is to drive unparalleled consumer engagement, with both creativity and technology, as transformative technologies such as gen AI and agentic AI redefine our consumer expectations,” said Asmita Dubey, chief digital and marketing officer of L’Oréal Groupe. “We are incredibly excited to collaborate with NVIDIA to leverage AI’s potential to augment creativity and to help turn consumers’ beauty dreams into reality.”
“Generative AI is bringing digital intelligence and agility to enterprises. By leveraging NVIDIA AI Enterprise, L’Oréal is bringing rapid innovation, scalability, personalised marketing and advertising that improve consumer engagement and conversion,” said Azita Martin, vice president and general manager, retail and CPG, NVIDIA. “L’Oréal, along with NVIDIA, is unlocking the full potential of AI in beauty, and making consumer beauty experiences even more seamless, rewarding and fun.”

This is in line with L’Oréal’s commitment to move beyond beauty for all and deliver beauty for each. As Eva Yu, president and managing director of L’Oréal Hong Kong, says, “Our beauty tech innovations are at the forefront of this transformation, leveraging AI, AR and data analytics to create personalised products and services. L’Oréal is dedicated to innovation, with beauty tech driving how we improve the consumer experience and meet new beauty demands. We go beyond basic products to deliver complete, tech-powered beauty solutions and sustainability initiatives.”
This is not the first time the beauty brand has partnered up with tech companies. In January 2025, L’Oréal launched a collaboration with IBM to leverage its generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) technology to get new insights into cosmetic formulation data.
