Following a two-year hiatus from public life, the social entrepreneur returns with Bayt Amal Nur, a foundation inspired by faith, resilience and a vision for lasting community empowerment
Nearly two years after stepping away from public life, social entrepreneur Raudhah Nazran is making her return with a new venture, one shaped less by professional ambition than by a deeply personal chapter in her life. Best known as the CEO and founder of Accelerate Global, an organisation dedicated to helping young people develop entrepreneurial skills and navigate their careers, Raudhah’s latest endeavour reflects how motherhood has transformed both her purpose and her approach to creating social impact.
Bayt Amal Nur, a new sub-venture under Accelerate Global, builds on the social impact mission that underpinned her earlier work while introducing a new dimension. This time, her focus extends to creating safe spaces for women, mothers, youth and disadvantaged communities, empowering them with integrity, resilience and long-term autonomy.

Before launching Bayt Amal Nur, Raudhah had already established herself as one of Malaysia’s leading young social entrepreneurs. At just 29, she grew Accelerate Global into one of the country’s foremost youth-focused social enterprises, positively impacting more than 10,000 individuals through career advancement, self-development and entrepreneurship programmes.

Behind these achievements, however, Raudhah was fighting private battles. On September 10, 2025, she and her husband, Fran Zulfikarpasic, welcomed the birth of their first daughter, Amal Nur Zulfikarpasic, via caesarean section. Raudhah’s journey into motherhood was far from smooth. She kept her pregnancy private while navigating severe medical complications. According to Raudhah, her pregnancy was marked by prolonged malnutrition, dangerously low blood pressure and a series of catabolic episodes that caused her body to consume itself in order to sustain the pregnancy, nearly costing her her life.
Yet from an experience that nearly broke her emerged an extraordinary resilience. Reflecting on her pregnancy, Raudhah wrote, “Words cannot do justice to what I went through. The past ten months destroyed me. It broke me. Yet in that breaking, I met Allah more intimately than ever before.”

Her experience of motherhood reshaped the way she understood resilience, leadership and service. It also inspired the name of her foundation, Bayt Amal Nur, in honour of her daughter. Amal means “hope” or “deed”, while Nur means “light”, together translating to “House of Hope and Light”.

These values sustained Raudhah through one of the most difficult periods of her life. Recalling her daughter’s birth, she reflected on the moment that ignited a renewed sense of purpose: “Through the haze and the chaos, I saw my husband’s face wet with tears, and we heard her cry. In that moment, the pain, the fear, the months of breaking, all of it collapsed into a single truth: she was here. Alive. Our Amal.”
Bayt Amal Nur is envisioned to grow into a broader humanitarian and community development organisation over time. Its first flagship initiative, Blitz, already established in Langkawi, supports single mothers through nutrition-based entrepreneurship. Through Blitz, Bayt Amal Nur helps vulnerable women develop skills in baking and food production, cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and gain practical business exposure, empowering them to achieve financial independence and become providers within their own communities.

“Snacks that Heal” is the motto at the heart of the Blitz initiative, which centres on premium, sugar-free fortified cookies made with plant-based ingredients, including Ensure plant-based milk and Lakanto Luo Han Guo as a natural sugar alternative.
Rather than being viewed as charity products, these cookies are positioned as premium, market-ready goods, creating sustainable income opportunities for participants while meeting the growing demand for healthier, diabetic-friendly snack options.

Initially launching with a cohort of 10 single mothers, the initiative provides training allowances, business consulting and hands-on coaching. Top participants will eventually be selected for paid production roles. At the same time, Bayt Amal Nur, together with Accelerate Global, connects participants to a wider network through retail partnerships, pop-up activations and events.
“When you buy these products, you are not simply purchasing cookies,” Raudhah says. “You are helping by restoring dignity, independence and hope to women who deserve the opportunity to rebuild their lives sustainably.”
Blitz embodies the philosophy of moving beyond short-term aid to build a long-term system of empowerment that strengthens communities from within. As Raudhah explains it, “We don’t want to create a dependency; we want to create future women leaders, providers and changemakers.”
