This year, L’Oréal Paris is revolutionising the runway experience at KL Fashion Week 2025, presenting a multi-dimensional celebration of Malaysian identity through the lens of 22 extraordinary women in partnership with Tatler Malaysia’s Front & Female Awards
In the era of authenticity, where beauty narratives are increasingly scrutinised for substance and inclusivity, L’Oréal Paris Malaysia has orchestrated something profoundly different at Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) 2025.
This year’s collaboration transcends conventional fashion week boundaries, weaving together the threads of personal identity, cultural complexity and artistic expression into a singular manifesto of Malaysian womanhood.
A partnership between L’Oréal Paris, KL Fashion Week and Tatler Malaysia, this runway show celebrates the unique story each woman has to tell both on the runway and off. For the first time, the L’Oréal Paris x KLFW REDManifesto Runway show will feature 9 inspiring women from among Tatler’s Front & Female Awards Malaysia community—a collaboration fronting voices that have operated in the margins of mainstream beauty discourse, positioning them centre stage in a narrative that showcases the true beauty of contemporary Malaysian identity.

From entrepreneurs, creators, thought leaders and changemakers alike, the heart of L’Oréal Paris’ KLFW collaboration are the women who grace the runway—22 Women of Worth whose true beauty lies in their ability to spark change and transformation in everyday life.
Catch them working behind-the-scenes, sparking conversations off the runway or on the big stage doing everything from the marvellous to the mundane—they’re living the lives they choose with fearless passion and hard-fought confidence.
The inspiring ladies who will grace this runway represent a deliberate curatorial choice—each woman embodies what the campaign terms ‘modern duality,’ existing simultaneously as leaders and learners, creators and challengers, entrepreneurs and advocates.
These are not archetypal representations of Malaysian femininity, but rather complex individuals whose personal narratives resist easy categorisation. Tehmina Kaoosji, an independent broadcast journalist and gender equity advocate, brings her truth-telling and heartbreaking life story directly to the runway.

Dato’ Jacqueline Fong preserves Sarawak’s artisanal heritage by empowering local weavers and artisans, while Dr Premitha Damodaran transforms silence around menopause into strength. Ibupreneur co-founder Aida Zunaidi’s conviction as a student led her to start a thriving social enterprise that empowers B40 women entrepreneurs to be changemakers themselves, while Malaysian women’s cricket captain Winifred Duraisingam proves time and again that women can shine in one of the most male-dominated sports.

From Tan Lee Bee, who has spent 35 years as a sign language interpreter making the unheard visible, to Renuga Nair, who boldly switched careers into tech without prior background, these women embody the complexity of reinvention and resilience that defines modern Malaysian identity.
Each lady’s story becomes a thread in a larger tapestry that celebrates the duality of tradition and innovation, strength and vulnerability, individual expression and cultural continuity.

Above To bring the REDManifesto runway show to life, L’Oréal Paris is working with emerging designers to curate every thread and stitch in red
The L’Oréal Paris x KLFW REDManifesto Runway extends beyond the women who walk it to encompass the emerging designers who create the visual language of this celebration.
These Malaysian designers bring their own philosophical approaches to the concept of duality, each contributing a unique perspective on how clothing can become a vehicle for identity expression.
Suet Lin’s philosophy that “everyone deserves to dress as uniquely as they are regardless of gender, age, size or colour” translates into sculptural silhouettes that blur traditional boundaries.

Meanwhile, Zaff Jibby’s concept of “refined eccentricity” celebrates the beauty that lies in a woman’s self-worth. These design philosophies reflect a deeper understanding that fashion serves as both armour and voice, protection and proclamation.
The collaboration between L’Oréal Paris and these designers represents a commitment to nurturing local talent while addressing global conversations about representation, beauty and inclusivity.
Significantly, this L’Oréal Paris collaboration acknowledges that contemporary beauty and fashion narratives are increasingly democratised through digital platforms.
This year, TikTok Shop joins forces as the official livestream partner of the L’Oréal Paris REDManifesto Runway show at KLFW 2025, transforming the traditional exclusivity of fashion week into an accessible, interactive experience. By partnering with this leading emerging social platform used by millions around the world, L’Oréal Paris x KLFW is smashing barriers that previously made inclusive fashion available to only a privileged few—driving home a digital-first approach that reflects L’Oréal Paris’ evolution from a beauty brand to a cultural facilitator.
With this unique collaboration, L’Oréal Paris and TikTok Shop are making the Infallible Pro-Cover Cushion available for purchase exclusively on TikTok Shop on Super Brand Day (August 6-8, 2025) in line with the REDManifesto runway show at KLFW featuring our Women of Worth.
Now, every aspiring fashionista gets a front row seat to the magic of KLFW and the incredible women who walk its runway.
This approach recognises that contemporary beauty conversations are participatory rather than prescriptive, inviting audiences to become active participants in defining what Malaysian beauty and strength look like in 2025.

If fashion shows felt as foreign to you as learning a new language, you’ll want to get eyes on this year’s L’Oréal Paris x KLFW collaboration—a cultural moment that challenges narrow definitions of beauty while celebrating the complexity of contemporary identity.
Through the lens of duality, form, and force, this partnership creates space for conversations about what it means to be Malaysian, female, and worthy in an increasingly complex world. Because, as the brand reminds us, they’re worth it and always have been.
