Elated with the news of cinemas reopening? Here are 8 of the most anticipated movies to catch on the big screen

Perhaps one of the biggest griefs people collectively had amid the pandemic is not being able to watch their favourite films inside the movie theatre. The place, after all, provides an experience that cinema buffs can never find elsewhere.

As Metro Manila suffered the grave consequences of the on and off COVID-19 lockdowns, movie houses were forced to stop their operations. This left film enthusiasts alone and in the care of their TV screens, mobile phones, and computer monitors.

Last Saturday, October 20, 2021, the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) announced that cinemas in the National Capital Region (NCR) can open their doors again at a minimum of 30 per cent capacity. The ordinance-providing body added that only fully-vaccinated individuals are allowed inside.
