Our new online learning series Gen.T Disrupt provides the skills and tools you need to boost your career, covering topics from blockchain to mental health
The iPod. MySpace. Blackberry. What do they have in common? They were all once frontier technologies, disrupting everything that had come before, only to be themselves disrupted for failing to iterate and innovate.
The rapid pace of technology means it's no longer enough to get ahead—you have to work hard to stay there. For individuals, that means constantly learning and upskilling, ensuring you have the tools and techniques you need to be a disruptor instead of the disrupted.
At Gen.T, we get it. Covering stories of innovation and entrepreneurship, we see first-hand how the Leaders of Tomorrow in our community are constantly educating themselves on the latest trends and technologies. It made us want to create a platform that would help many more people have access to the kind of curated insights and information that would help them get and stay ahead.
Enter Gen.T Disrupt, a new online learning platform co-created with Sofasoda, a digital learning hub under Snapask, one of Asia's largest online learning platforms.
Every Gen.T Disrupt course is led by a startup founder or creative from the Gen.T community. They share insights on their areas of expertise, covering everything from blockchain to mental health. The aim of each class is to equip the next generation of young leaders with both the hard and soft skills needed to establish their own path to success
We will be releasing a course every month for the rest of the year, five in Chinese and five in English. We're launching with the five Chinese-language courses, led by extraordinary young leaders from Gen.T's community in Taiwan. English-language courses will debut on the platform this summer.
Read on to learn more about the first four instructors.

Since starting in 2019, his digital asset management platform Steaker has grown its assets under management to more than US$50 million. “When I was in college, I learned about Bitcoin in a class and that was when my passion for blockchain began to grow,” says Huang, who also runs Cream Finance, a lending platform for cryptocurrencies.
In his Gen.T Disrupt course, which is available now, the entrepreneur teaches us how to tap market demand, maximise profits and enter the world of crypto.
