On June 26, we revealed the 50 Singapore honourees on the Gen.T List 2019 at an unveiling event at Kilo Kitchen and Lounge.
We kickstarted the event with a private dinner for the 2019 honourees and members of the Tatler Tribe—a panel of industry heavyweights Gen.T consults to aid in the selection of the list. Tribe members at the dinner included finance veteran Tan Su Shan; Frank Phuan, CEO of clean energy firm Sunseap Group; and Pat Law, founder of digital agency Goodstuph.
During the dinner at Kilo Kitchen, Tamara Lamunière, the head of Generation T Asia, introduced the inaugural Gen.T Asia Summit, which will be held on November 20 and 21 at the Rosewood Hong Kong. Managing director of Edipresse Media Singapore, Corinne Ng, also introduced Gen.T's new partnership with Fullerton Heritage and Reach Community Services, which will culminate in an activation event this September, where Gen.T honourees will hold workshops with at-risk youth in the city.
Guests were then joined by previous Gen.T honourees and the wider community for the afterparty and official public unveiling of the list at Kilo Lounge. Chart-topping singer-songwriter Charlie Lim, a 2019 honouree, gave a surprise performance after the unveiling of the list.
