Gen.T hosted a spirits appreciation workshop, presided over by mixologist and entrepreneur Victoria Chow and her new boutique consultancy, Sip Straight. The community event was our first at Tatler House Hong Kong.

Located inside the Upper House hotel, Tatler House is a new, intimate space for our community to come together and experience the Tatler brand.

Guests tasted eight different spirits, from gin to mezcal, learning how to appreciate each drink as well as the history and production methods behind them. Some key takeaways from the night: gin is essentially the same drink as vodka, but distilled with juniper berries for its unique flavour. And much like the Champagne region of France, only spirits produced in the Mexican town of Tequila can bear its name.

Hosted once Hong Kong's third wave of Covid-19 cases had subsided, the workshop was an enjoyable way to bring the community together to catch up and share stories.
