The Singaporean singer-songwriter will perform a 150-minute set at the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands on July 22

Live concerts are back on event calendars in Singapore—and local musician Gentle Bones is tying his first one since the pandemic started to a good cause.

On July 22, the singer-songwriter will front a 150-minute charity concert, held at the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands. The concert is organised with the RHT Rajan Menon Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of ONERHT, a collective of corporate and legal companies.

Proceeds from the performance will be donated to various organisations, including The Fun! Fund for Seniors, Dementia Singapore Ltd and Touch Community Services.

Gentle Bones, whose real name is Joel Tan, came into the spotlight when he became the first Singaporean artist to sign with Universal Music Singapore. Over the years, he has also topped music charts with his songs, starting with his debut single, Until We Die, which reached no 1 on iTunes in 2013.

Tickets for his upcoming charity concert on July 22 are now available for purchase at Marina Bay Sands’ and ticketing company Sistic’s websites.
