August marks several happy occasions here at the Tatler towers. Besides celebrating our nation’s 51st birthday, and having iconic Singaporean singer-songwriter Dick Lee on the cover, we’re also rolling out our inaugural Generation T (for Tatler) list.

What is it? You ask. For this list, we’ve gathered 50 bright and young talents from all around the little red dot. They’re our next generation of visionaries, innovators and disruptive talents. And to celebrate the launch of this list, we’re holding a Generation T party on August 12.

In the lead-up to this Friday’s party, we’ve asked Phillip Poon, Janice Wong, Rebecca Eu, Sandra Riley Tang, Ryan Su, and André Chiang to reveal the things that spur their desire to prosper and excel in their everyday life and work.
