Doctor Anywhere Partners With Lifebuoy to Enhance Preventive Healthcare in Singapore
The healthtech company and soap brand are jointly seeking to raise awareness about and improve access to preventive care resources and services in the country over the next three years
Omnichannel healthcare provider Doctor Anywhere, founded by Gen.T honouree Lim Wai Mun, has partnered with soap brand Lifebuoy to educate, engage and enable more than one million Singaporeans to improve their health proactively.
The partnership is said to support Singapore's national strategy as it moves towards a preventive approach to healthcare, and will leverage Doctor Anywhere's digital healthcare expertise.
Their efforts will be guided by a three-year ambition at scale, supporting vulnerable groups and enabling greater access to healthcare services and resources.
“Emerging from the pandemic, Singaporeans have embraced new digital health innovations and are increasingly concerned about their health and well-being,” said Lim. “By providing access, tools and awareness to help all Singaporeans make prevention at the heart of their health, it marks the transformation towards a healthier population and a healthier future for all.”
On top of its goal of educating one million Singapore residents about preventive care, the two companies also hope to have increased access to preventive care resources and services for 10,000 Singaporeans in need—including the elderly, disabled and financially vulnerable—by the year 2025.
They held their first on-ground event on November 12, where Doctor Anywhere provided 120 health screenings and there was also a fun fair for children to learn about the importance of handwashing and hygiene.
