Gen.T teamed up with a local foundation to help clean the streets—and build community—in an underserved district of Jakarta. Here's what happened

For our Connect To Change event in Indonesia, we teamed up with Pansophia Nusantara Foundation.

Social entrepreneur and Gen.T honouree Gigih Septianto led children from the foundation's Marunda School on a community clean-up as part of World Cleanup Day on September 21.

After leading the children through the local area to pick up trash—educating them on different types of waste and how to dispose of it as they went—Septianto then held sharing sessions with the students at the school, telling them about his life as an entrepreneur.

Watch the video to see highlights from the event and to hear from Septianto, as well as representatives from both Gen.T and Pansophia.

Connect To Change is a social initiative from Generation T. We bring the Gen.T community together to create positive impact in each of our markets across Asia, partnering with local charities and activating the skills of our honourees to benefit the charity and help its founders achieve their goals.
