Carousell's new #StartonCarousell programme seeks to aid founders under 25 years old with digital tools, funding and mentorship

Classifieds platform Carousell has launched its first regional programme aimed at helping young entrepreneurs build their businesses.

#StartonCarousell will provide the tools, hands-on experience and guidance to founders under 25 years old. Participants will have access to seller tools that will amplify their business, a free product photoshoot for the top 10 business proposals, and a small capital funding of about US$1,000 for the top three winners.

They will also be able to attend panel discussions and coffee chats with seasoned founders and business leaders such as Carousell's very own Quek Siu Rui, Love, Bonito's Rachel Lim, ShopBack's Joel Leong and Kumu's chief product officer Crystal Widjaja.

"We can't wait to see how this takes off, to meet with buzzing aspiring entrepreneurs across the region and to exchange ideas with them through our mentorship sessions," said Quek in a statement.

Those interested can sign up for #StartonCarousell by September 7.
