Your favourite hobby?
Flicking through a stack of old magazines to look for inspiration when I need some creative juice.

Favourite family activity?
Hiking. Once we’re on the trail, we make up games. I often let my son, Rocco, lead the way.

Favourite subject for a photoshoot?
My son.

Pick three essential wardrobe items that make up your signature look.
A Prada crochet tote bag in aqua, a crisp white shirt dress from Fendi and off-the-shoulder tops.

Favourite designer?
Hard to pin down one. But Elsa Schiaparelli is a true icon.

Best advice you’ve ever been given?
My dad always insisted that you are what you give, not what you are given.

Worst advice you’ve ever received?
Before my husband and I started dating seriously, our accidental matchmaker Ivan Pun advised that we did’t have any prospect [as a couple]. Next year is going to be our tenth wedding anniversary, so we proved him wrong.

What’s your personal motto?
I’m a big fan of the [British] royal family’s unofficial motto: never complain, never explain.

Favourite place in Hong Kong?
The Mandarin Spa [at Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong], where masseur Rakhi works her magic.

Life-changing book?
Designers Are Wankers by Lee McCormack.

One daredevil thing you’ve done?
Bungee jumping in New Zealand. I ticked that box and never again.

Your recipe for happiness?
Consume less and create more.
