According to Linkedin, there are several key factors that justify the list provided above. Some of them include:

Flexible work is no longer just a nice-to-have: Amid the pandemic, companies like Metrobank came up with employee wellness programs through a series of employee training sessions and work-from-home policies. The bank also offers programs that support its employees' emotional and mental well-being.

Offering stability in an unstable world: Because a lot of companies were forced to halt their operations and cut their employee numbers, there are those who decided to provide upskilling opportunities. Despite the challenges and disruptions caused by the pandemic, these top companies are offering stability through upskilling opportunities that employees can count on. Accenture, for example, offered a Near-Hire Training program to help determined non-college job applicants to have an entry-level work inside the company.

Companies on the list are also looking at ensuring equality in the workforce: In January, Accenture rolled out personalised equipment—including headsets, talk-to-text keyboards, and glasses—to assist employees with vision, hearing, speech, or mobility impairment.

Mental health goes mainstream at work: Committed to the wellbeing of their employees, many of this year’s honorees provide services that address mental health and resilience. Telecommunications Smart, for example, lauched the Mind Your Health program to aid employees in their mental health dilemmas as the pandemic continues to plague mankind.
