Co-founded by Gen.T lister Wesley Ng, tech accessories brand Casetify announced it has secured an eight-figure US dollar Series A funding from C Ventures—a venture capital company owned by entrepreneur and cultural mastermind Adrian Cheng, which aims to build a global ecosystem targeting Millennials and Generation Z, and connect coteries from media and lifestyle sectors.
This marks Casetify’s first external investment since it was founded in 2011. With the financing, the Hong Kong-based brand will be able to further accelerate sales growth, open new retail stores globally, as well as funding potential acquisitions. According to an official statement, Adrian Cheng has also been tapped as Casetify’s cultural ambassador, who will work closely with the brand and utilise his network to bring its creative culture to a wider audience. Cheng’s ambitious move also reflects his company’s mission to support rising ventures in different fields globally, helping them to internationalise the products and reach new markets.
