Zaborin

It’s all in the name: Zaborin is named after the Zen word that means “to sit and forget”, and this is what the property invites its guests to do: reflect, relax and let it all go. Perhaps one of the best renditions of a contemporary ryokan in Japan, this Hokkaido property features all the attractions of a family-run inn but with today’s needs and preferences in mind. It’s most evident in the design, which puts the focus on the spectacular surroundings of Niseko’s rolling mountains and birch trees. Each of Zaborin’s 15 villas is configured differently, with its own indoor and outdoor hot spring bath.
