It started back in 2012 when a team coalesced with the goal of creating a truly original handcrafted rum–a sustainable blend of traditional French distillation with high quality Thai sugarcane. Using a traditional copper still imported from France and a centuries-old distillation process, Chalong Bay has produced an award-winning rum of incredible character, originality and smoothness, in a remarkable expression of 100% natural Thai sugarcane.

The distillery is also the base for the production of Saneha Gin and Lanna Vodka, all also crafted with Thai ingredients.

Grab a refreshing mojito and join a distillery visit that is available in four rounds every day in the afternoon until early evening. Go behind the scenes and learn how it is that Chalong Bay makes some of the best spirits in Thailand. You can just sip on it at a short tasting session, or join a mocktail or cocktail workshop and learn how a pro mixologist does it.

Come in time for lunch, before the distillery tour, and you’ll be treated with Thai classics, such as fresh prawn spring rolls and massaman curry, just to mention two. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
