Set within 4.6 hectares of lush greenery, Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree brings biophilic design to the forefront of the region’s hospitality scene. Designed by Wow Architects with interiors by Warner Wong Design, the resort is carefully elevated to preserve natural terrain and mature trees, including a striking 12-metre rain tree and Indian beech at its arrival. Its signature treehouses, inspired by purple millettia seed pods, hover above the forest floor and overlook Upper Seletar Reservoir. Inside, guestrooms are layered with artworks by Singaporean artist Donna Ong, reflecting the rainforest’s diverse ecological strata while grounding the resort firmly in Mandai’s natural landscape.
