Kimberly Chen, vice chairman of BEAUJAX, not only manages myriad responsibilities within the group but is also a world-class wakesurfer and the captain of the Taipei Wakesurfing Team. In 2019, she achieved second place in the Masters Women category at the WWA Masters Wakesurf Championships, and she secured multiple victories in the CWSA Wakesurf World Ranking Series in the Masters Surf Women category in 2020 and 2022.

Her passion for wakesurfing has also influenced her daughter, Jocelyn Chen, who has inherited her mother’s athletic genes and fearless spirit, competing alongside her in wakesurfing competitions worldwide. In 2022, after the pandemic, Kimberly and Jocelyn travelled to North Carolina for the World Wake Surf Championship, where they both achieved impressive results with gold and bronze medals.

Kimberly believes in constantly breaking boundaries in life, pushing beyond self-imposed limits. She said, “I don’t let other people’s frames limit me. Like last year, I overcame my fear of the deep sea and heights. I walked deeper into the ocean step by step. Many people asked me, ‘How did you do it?’ I watched videos and practiced breathing at home, gradually increasing the time I could hold my breath. I know where my abilities lie, not comparing myself to others but constantly improving myself.”
