Sean Lien, the CEO of the Youth Development Foundation since 2015, has been responsible for readjusting the course of the organization to investing in charity and youth entrepreneurship. In 2014, after he was elected as mayor of Taipei City, he used the balance from the elections to invest in public welfare and plan the establishment of social enterprises. In May 2020, he took over as the vice chairman of the National Policy Research Foundation. Through the new post, he aims to assist young entrepreneurs and cultivate a culture of innovation to help boost Taiwan’s economy.
