Since 1992, Rock Hsu has been the chairman of New Kinpo Group, an electronics company he established in 1973 with his father, Chow-ing Hsu. He is the primary business development strategist, responsible for diversifying the group’s portfolio into various fields, such as communications, optoelectronics, biotechnology, and venture capital. It is now a world leader in electronic manufacturing services.

The New Kinpo Group has manufacturing locations in China, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, the United States, and Brazil. Two of the nine factories in Thailand are smart factories that function with the lights off. It is Hsu’s vision to continue with these energy-saving plans in the future, as well as explore the fields of medical treatment, fitness, immune system products, smart technology, sports products, and animal hospitals.

Tsu also serves as chairman of more than 30 technology companies in Taiwan, including Cal-Comp Electronics & Communications Co., Ltd., Compal Electronics, AcBel Polytech Inc., Vibo Telecom Inc., and the China Productivity Center.

In addition, he is also the Acting Chairman of the Straits Exchange Foundation, honorary director general of the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association and Importers & Exporters Association of Taipei, and deputy director general for the Chinese National Federation of Industries.
