Bi-Ming Tsai has dedicated her career to studying Daoist philosophy and traditional Chinese medicine and how they, combined, can be an energizing formula for a healthy and happy life. A dedicated student and teacher of TCM and martial arts, she is a leading authority on Zhuangzi and Daoist philosophy, which focuses on authenticity, longevity, vitality, and healthy through living a life of harmony

Tsai’s book, The Dao of TCM: When Laozi and Zhuangzi Meet Huangdi Neijing, is a four-part treatise on how Daoist thought and TCM can be applied in modern life in achieving contentment and happiness. Her exposition proves her an expert in Chinese philosophy and its enduring relevance, and the link between ancient texts and traditional practices.

Bi-Ming Tsai is currently an associate professor in the Department of Chinese Literature at National Taiwan University. Her works include Just the Right Time to Read Zhuangzi, A Guide to Acupressure, Zhuangzi From the Heart, among others.
