Anita Leung

Managing Director, BELLAVITA

Building a unique and top-tier luxury department store

Opened in 2009, BELLAVITA is acclaimed as a discreetly luxurious top-tier shopping mall in Taiwan. Everything started as a dream of a single café has evolved into a premium shopping destination. The constant aim is to provide an international perspective for people in Taiwan. Apart from introducing many international/exclusive frontline brands such as Hermes, Roger Vivier, Giorgio Armani, MOYNAT, DELVAUX, it is also the first in Taiwan to collaborate with globally renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, including L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon and CLOVER by Jean Francois Piege.

Since its establishment, under the leadership of Anita Leung, the team has gradually promoted the family's philosophy and ideas. The most eye-catching aspect for consumers is the annual seasonal-themed landscapes in the central courtyard, such as the transformation into a "Japanese-style courtyard" to welcome the autumn season and celebrate the 13th anniversary of the department store. The meticulous design includes features like stone pathways, arch bridges, and bamboo groves, creating a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of the pleasant surroundings of Arashiyama in Kyoto, Japan. This has successfully become a popular spot for young people to share on social media. In addition to themed landscapes, this area is also a sought-after venue for pop-up concept stores of major brands.

Simultaneously, the management pays meticulous attention to the discerning needs of high-end customers through the exclusive and highly private "Peony Club." While specifics are not disclosed to the public, the overall performance of the mall has shown an average annual growth rate in the double digits.
