Zhang, also known as Zee Zee, became the first female Chinese pianist to sign with Columbia Records in the US. She performs throughout Europe, the US and China, and was selected as one of the New Generation Artists by the BBC, joining the music season from 2013 to 2015. Her debut album was recently released by Germany’s Deutsche Grammophon.
