Zhou Ziyang’s debut feature film, 2017’s Old Beast, picked up multiple gongs at the 54th Golden Horse Awards. The film, which delivers social realism in a grim family drama, also picked up awards at the Tokyo International Film Festival, Macau International Movie Festival and China Film Directors’ Guild Awards. His second feature film, Wu Hai, is in production.
