Foam is difficult to recycle, and Malaysia lacks the means of doing so. Zare Lee and his brother Tzong created Trapo in 2016 to tackle the problem, initially using industrial by-products from their family’s toy factory to create a range of high-end antibacterial car mats. The mats have since taken Southeast Asia by storm and Trapo has grown to become a comprehensive car accessories brand focused on safety and hygiene.
