Yvette Kong has swapped the Olympic pool for a career that blends art, education and innovation. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, she teaches a course on transversal design, highlighting the power of focusing on problem-solving. Through her start-up Arelyx, she equips young people and educators with the hard and soft skills needed to navigate the AI age. At Transversal Lab (T.Lab), she collaborates with brands and communities, and also creates artworks, such as her 2025 Venice Biennale spectacle The JadeWalkers, to inspire social change.
