Yuni He grew up in California and Shanghai, returning to the latter in 2016 to start Deus Cocktail Club and culinary incubator The Hyve, which aims to bring the latest restaurants and entertainment concepts to China. The UC Berkeley graduate previously spent seven years in Paris, where she and her partners restructured or established 12 restaurants.
