Group CEO, Singtel

Tatler Asia

The Singtel boss Yuen Kuan Moon has been with the company for almost three decades

Yuen Kuan Moon is group CEO of Singtel, one of Asia’s largest communications technology groups. A veteran of the company since 1993, Yuen has held key roles including CEO of Singtel’s consumer division and chief digital officer before assuming his current role in January 2021. He brings decades of experience across marketing, business development, and digital transformation.

Under his leadership, Singtel has doubled down on its vision to become a future-ready digital infrastructure leader. In FY2025, Singtel reported a 400 per cent surge in net profit to approximately US$2.93 billion, boosted by a US$1.19 billion one-time gain from the partial divestment of its Comcentre headquarters, part of a major redevelopment with Lendlease.

Yuen has also led the group through major industry shifts—from expanding 5G and edge computing capabilities to scaling AI-driven enterprise services and strengthening digital resilience across Singtel’s footprint. His commitment to customer trust and cyber-readiness was underscored by swift and transparent handling of a cyberattack early in his tenure.

An engineering graduate from the University of Western Australia, Yuen is active in public service. He sits on the boards of the Singapore Institute of Management Group and SkillsFuture Singapore, and serves on the Advisory Council of the Lifelong Learning Endowment Fund and the Digital Readiness Council under the Ministry of Communications and Information.

Yuen continues to steer Singtel into its next phase of growth—bridging innovation, inclusion, and regional scale.
