Having run various parts of the business of chemicals, fibres and packaging producer Indorama Ventures, Yashovardhan Lohia, son of company founder Aloke, assumed the new title of chief sustainability officer in 2020. Since he began guiding its progress towards sustainability, the company has been awarded Top Sustainability Advocate in Asia at the Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Awards 2022, and Best Sustainable Product at the Chemical Week Sustainability Awards 2022.
