Chan Tsz Yeung’s family has been involved with food since he was a child, and as a result he has always had a passion for food. During his studies in Chinese Culinary Arts at the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, Tsz Yeung took part in as many as 40 catering competitions developing significant hands-on experience. After graduation he worked at La Grande Vinotheque. All of these experiences have contributed to his extensive Chinese and Western culinary skills. Last year, he made created the dish Taste of Taiwan using high-quality ingredients from across the nation, for which he was named S.Pellegrino Young Chef in Northeast Asia, and represented Taiwan in the final in Milan, Italy.
